WIMBLEDON 2024

Updated: Jul 10

Merton, an outer borough of London has hosted the prestigious Wimbledon Grand Slam for over 150 years.  All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club consists of 18 championship grass courts, 20 practice grass courts, two acrylic courts and five indoor courts. In retaining its traditions over the last 150 years, players are still required to wear white, and now many fans follow suit, creating a traditional and formal vibe in the stadiums and grounds. It’s common to see celebrities and royalty spectating.

In 2024 we can anticipate seeing many of our favorite players,  including two wild card recipients, Naomi Osaka and Emma Radacanu. This year  the new Head Boom, the Wilson Blade, the Babolat Strike, and the Head Speed will be making a debut at Wimbledon.  Manufacturers, like players, want to see their sticks in the hands of the 2024 Wimbledon Champion.

Stay in touch with the official Wimbledon App, it’s a must for keeping up.  Fans in the United States can catch on-court action live on ABC, ESPN and the Tennis Channel. Tennis Channel will primarily show daily highlights, studio programming, interviews and analysis.  Don’t miss the finals July 13th and 14th.
